Able, Figgy, & Lara's Fleece Ball Review

Size:

Much larger then expected.  Smaller would be better for the Figgy the Chihuahua

Appearance:

Very colorful and soft.  It looks like it would be fun to play with.

Construction:

Okay.  First impression was that it was very strong, a couple of issues, discussed below.

Fabric:

Very soft

 How did your pup react when you gave them the Fleece Ball?

Abel - stuffed it in his face and wanted to tug

Figgy - I had to work to get her to interact, she was a little intimidated by the size.  She did eventually figure out how to just grab a few pieces and tug though.

Lara - Took it and shook and shook and shook it.

 Did/do they enjoy playing with the Fleece ball?

Abel and Figgy think it is a great tug toy.  Abel is a very strong tugger and here and there some strips of fabric came out.

Lara loves playing fetch with it.  She can not have it unsupervised or left with it for any amount of time.  Only for active fetching.  Otherwise she laid down with it and quickly chewed of pieces of fabric and ate them.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes, for a dog who is not a chewer.

 What is your overall opinion of the Bentley’s Bones Fleece Ball?

Very enticing for the dog.  It invites play.
