Luca's Fleece Ball Review

Size:

Excellent! MUCH bigger than either I or my boyfriend expected. Very full and floppy :)

 Appearance:

 Fun colors. Love the idea of being able to choose colors that I want. My coworkers were very interested in the color combinations available on line. Some asked if specific colors can be requested.

 Construction:

I liked that although the ball fell apart in about 30 minutes of play and chewing, that it didn't fall apart in lots of different strands, but rather that the individual pieces were all stitched together. I also liked that one of the tentacles had the Bentley's Bones tag stitched on to it. Nice touch.

 Fabric:

I love the fleece, and Luca just ADORED It. I think it felt nice on her teeth, and she did hug it and rest her head on it. She has always been a fan of soft toys, but never gets them anymore because of her shredding ability.

 How did your pup react when you gave them the Fleece Ball?

Ecstatic! She jumped right up to grab it, and immediately bit right into it and started shaking it side to side.

 Did/do they enjoy playing with the Fleece ball?

Extremely. I gave it to her last night for 15 minutes and she didn't want to part with it. Ran all over the apartment shaking it and chewing. When it was time to put it away, she placed her head on it and didn't want to give it up. LOL

This morning (before it came apart) she rolled around the bed with it doing a lot of flopping about with the ball on her back.

 What games did you play with your dog with this toy?

 Tug of war, toss in the air and catch, keep away.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

 I absolutely would, but would warn the heavy chewers how quickly it fell apart. I doubt they would be surprised considering my friends with large dogs have the same problem with soft toys and their pups.

 What is your overall opinion of the Bentley’s Bones Fleece Ball?

I think it was an excellent and really fun toy for my pup. I wish it held out longer. However, I do have to point out that although it is in 3 pieces now, one of the pieces is still quite large and I good to play with. I am wondering if it'll last the week. If this was something that could make it through the month I would definitely get another!

 Other Comments:

I am very satisfied with the toy especially since I can see how much my dog loves it!  I was very impressed that it really held its own during tug of war. The materials are very good quality as is the stitching. I would suggest that it be connected a bit tougher. Over all, I give it an A based on sheer excitement from Luca alone! :)
